Pastor Chad Nightingale

Pastor Chad Nightingale has been with us since Fall of 2016. He is an author, biblical counselor, pastor, and teacher. Though a pastor has many hats to wear, Chad believes his main function is to lead our church family in the way of Jesus Christ through a clear practical presentation of Scripture. His wife Tracy teaches at Edison Jr. High School in the area of special education, teaches Sunday school, is a small business owner, and biblical counselor. Both Chad and Tracy are committed to participating in our community and reflecting the

image of God to a world in need of him. Their oldest son Charles is married to Ella. They live and work here in Pekin. Charles is on the usher security team and Ella is growing to love the Pekin Bible Church family. Henry, the middle child, is a student at Pekin High School. A dedicated student he participates in drama, music, and art. He spends his summers working at Camp Good News in Washington Illinois and is very involved in the music, sound, video ministry here at Pekin Bible Church. Elisabeth is headed to Pekin High School in the fall of 2022. She is a dedicated student, runs cross country and track. She works in our nursery, sings on our praise team, and helps mow the church lawn.

Associate Pastor Colton Conover

Colton Conover is currently serving as our Associate Pastor. He is married to his wife Jenni and they have one daughter Ellia, and one son Adam. Colton and Jenni are both Pekin natives and graduated from Pekin Highschool. Jenni previously worked for OSF and Colton worked as a pest control technician for over a decade. After living separate from God for many years they both came to know the Lord in 2018 and have been radically changed by Him and have decided to go into full time ministry. Jenni leads the nursery and children's ministries and Colton has been leading our Youth and Freedom Groups ministries as he trains in all other facets of pastoral ministry. He is also pursuing a biblical counseling certification and attending Bible College.

Administrative Elder John Wickiser and Pastoral Assistant Marcy Wickiser

John retired after a career of 28 years in project management and 12 years in the United States Air Force. He joined the Pekin Bible Church staff in April of 2025. John has been a member of the church for 25 years, serving in various ministries and has had a role in our church leadership as an elder for many years. He now works part-time as Administrative Elder, overseeing the business and finance duties and leading volunteers.

Marcy joined the staff in September of 2024 as the Pastoral Assistant, overseeing the church office. She has attended Pekin Bible since birth and loves her church family. Besides working in the office part time, she works part-time for a building automation company, and her other ministries include playing piano for the music team, teaching Sunday School, and writing curriculum.

John and Marcy have two grown daughters and two son-in-laws, Alice and Andrew Rininger and Mary and Ryan Huddleston, who also attend and serve at Pekin Bible Church.
